CreativeLive has a wide variety of creative classes in their catalog. We particularly like that their subscription plan is rather cheap and the production value of their courses is pretty high. Compared to other platforms with similar offerings however, we feel like CreativeLive's catalog is a bit smaller, and their user interface could use some updates. Overall, CreativeLive is a good platform for students that want to learn new creative skills.

Who is CreativeLive for?
While CreativeLive's main focus lies on creative content, they also offer lots of courses on other topics like business, money & life, self-improvement & many more. Overall, it's a great platform for anyone trying to improve their skills or learn something new, especially if it's related to photography, videography, art, etc.
CreativeLive pricing
CreativeLive has a hybrid model, where you can both buy courses individually and get them through their subscription offering. Purchasing courses individually will typically set you back between $25 - $100 USD.
CreativeLive Creator Pass
If you want to watch more than one course, you might be better off getting the Creator Pass, which is CreativeLive's subscription offering. It gives you access to:
On-demand access to their library of 2000+ classes
"Fast Classes", which are only available as part of the Creator Pass
Download lessons for offline viewing on iPhone/iPad app
Set learning goals
Curated learning paths
Exclusive conferences
& more.
The membership costs between $12.50 USD - $39 USD / month, depending on your billing cycle and commitment. You can choose between monthly subscription (most expensive), yearly subscription, but monthly payment (cheaper & more flexible) and the yearly subscription with yearly payment (the cheapest).
CreativeLive free courses
If you're not quite ready to buy a course from CreativeLive yet, you can check out their free "On-air courses". These are courses from their huge library that you can watch live & for free every day. You don't get to pause or skip, but it's still a great way of seeing whether CreativeLive is the right platform for you.
CreativeLive refund policy
If you're unhappy with a purchase you made, you can get a refund within 30 days of making your purchase. This is a pretty generous refund policy that not a lot of online learning platforms offer. To get the details, you can check out their Terms of Service.
CreativeLive for businesses
CreativeLive also offers a business subscription, which is meant to help teams learn about creative topics at scale.
It's billed at $149 USD/seat/year and gives you and your team access to the entire library of CreativeLive courses. If you have more than 1000 people at your company, you need to contact CreativeLive directly to get their enterprise pricing.
CreativeLive for students
Currently, CreativeLive doesn't have a dedicated (and discounted) offering for students.
Learning & Customer support
CreativeLive has a self-service knowledge base for common questions about the platform, your account, billing, etc. If you have additional questions, they also have email support that you can contact with any of your questions.
When it comes to learning support, you don't have as many options. You might be able to contact the instructors, but there's no easy-to-use forum, user community or feedback tool.
Overall, you shouldn't expect much help when facing a problem with a tool you're working with, which is obviously completely fine if that's not important to you, but it's just important to know upfront.
Certification
CreativeLive doesn't currently offer certificates of completion for their courses.
Create a CreativeLive account

In order to become an instructor, experts have to fill out a form with their work, so that CreativeLive's production team can approve or disapprove the application. So overall, their instructors have lots of professional experience in the creative fields they teach, and they're handpicked by CreativeLive.
